The site sells itself at dusk, so the room's job was to get out of the way of the windows. Whitewashed boards, driftwood-toned oak, woven pendants pulled low over the tables - everything calm enough that the marsh stays the loudest thing in the room.
Storm lanterns on the sills are the signature: they carry the eye from the candlelit tables out to the darkening grass, and on rough nights the staff light them first so the room feels defended rather than exposed.
Ninety seats that feel like forty was the brief. Acoustic felt above the boards - invisible from below - is why it works.
